The economics of a chiropractic practice live in the care plan, not the first appointment. Marketing should pre-qualify for the plan before the patient walks in.

The problem
These are the problems we see most often in chiropractors accounts before we take them over.
The fix
Week 1
A full read of your current chiropractors visibility: rankings, ad spend efficiency, tracking accuracy and the three competitors taking your calls.
Weeks 2–3
Tracking fixed first. There is no point optimising against numbers that are wrong, and most accounts we inherit have broken conversion tracking.
Month 2+
SEO and content build the base while paid covers the gap. As organic rankings climb, paid spend gets reallocated rather than increased.
Ongoing
Monthly reporting on booked work, not impressions. If the number is not moving, we say so and change the plan.
The niche
The first visit rarely pays for itself. Value sits in completed care plans, so a campaign that fills the schedule with discounted screenings can still lose money. Watch the map pack: long-established clinics with years of review volume are hard to displace, and proximity does a lot of the work, which is why a second location often beats more content. State boards vary on claims and discounted-exam offers, and ad platforms restrict health claims independently.
Chiropractic demand is a mix of acute pain ("back pain relief near me", ready to book today) and longer-term wellness patients. The acute searches are proximity- and review-driven and convert fast; the wellness side needs education and trust-building. New-patient offers work in this category but have to stay within your state board’s advertising rules.
The checklist
If you are already working with an agency, this is a useful list to hold them to. If you are not, it is what we build first.

Only if you track what happens after it. Measure care plans started and visits completed per new patient, not exams booked. Deep discounts reliably attract people shopping for the discount, and no-show rates on them run high. A cheaper alternative is charging a normal exam fee and competing on availability, same-week appointments and a specific problem. Check your state board's rules before advertising any free or discounted exam offer.
This is outbound relationship work with a marketing layer, not a campaign you can buy. Attorneys refer to clinics that document well, communicate on schedule and do not create problems later in the case. Lead with that. A one-page summary of your documentation and reporting process opens more doors than a lunch drop. In parallel, rank for accident-injury searches locally so patients reach you first and bring the attorney with them.
Carefully. Describing conditions you treat is usually fine; claiming cures, guaranteed outcomes or superiority over medical care is where boards and ad platforms intervene, and the rules differ by state. Patient testimonials that imply results carry the same risk. Write about symptoms and what a course of care involves, keep the language conditional, and have someone who knows your board's advertising rules read the pages before they publish.
