Being on every platform at once
A small budget split six ways is six campaigns that never reach the volume needed to learn anything.
Social Media Ads
Paid social beyond Meta — TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest and YouTube — matched to where your specific buyer actually is rather than where everyone advertises by default.

In plain terms
Beyond Meta, paid social spans TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube, Snapchat and Reddit — each with a different audience, ad format and cost profile. The job is matching the platform to the buyer: LinkedIn for professional services and B2B, TikTok and Pinterest for visual and consumer, YouTube for consideration-stage video.
Most small businesses do not need more than one or two of these. Spreading a modest budget across five platforms produces five underpowered campaigns. We pick where your buyers actually are and run that well.
A defensible answer to "should we be on TikTok?" for your specific business.
A month of posts and ad creative planned, produced and scheduled in advance.
The organic posts that perform get budget behind them; the rest do not.
Responses handled inside your brand voice, escalated when a real lead appears.
The engagement
The sequence rarely changes, even though every account does. Fix the foundation, launch what is fast, then compound.
Week 1
Platform selection based on where your buyers spend time and which formats suit your service, plus tracking setup.
Weeks 2–4
Creative built to each platform’s native format, launched as clean tests with enough budget to reach statistical signal.
Monthly
Creative refresh, audience iteration, and a hard look at whether each active platform is earning its share of the budget.
Quarterly
Re-evaluate the platform mix as your offer, audience and the platforms themselves change.
Fit
And who it isn’t
Skip this if the only reason you are considering it is that a competitor posts a lot. Presence on a platform your buyers do not use costs real money and returns nothing. We would rather tell you to stay off TikTok than sell you a content calendar.
What goes wrong
The failure modes we see most often when this channel is run without discipline — worth checking your current setup against.
A small budget split six ways is six campaigns that never reach the volume needed to learn anything.
A Meta static ad dropped into TikTok reads as an ad and gets skipped. Each platform needs native creative.
Running LinkedIn ads for a consumer service, or TikTok for a niche B2B tool, burns budget on the wrong room.
How we measure it
Booked jobs are the goal. These are the earlier reads that tell us the channel is on track to get there.
A clear read on which platform actually produces business, so the budget can consolidate.
Ads built for each platform’s format, which the feed rewards with cheaper reach.
One or two platforms run properly instead of five run thinly.
What you learn about who responds and to what message informs every other channel.
Questions
By who your buyer is and what the decision looks like, not by platform popularity. LinkedIn fits when a referral partner or employer is the decision-maker. TikTok and Instagram fit younger, visual, discretionary purchases. Pinterest suits planning-heavy decisions. If none of them fits your buyer, we will say so and recommend putting the budget into search or local instead.
It is usually the largest line item. Paid social burns through creative, so the real question is where video comes from: a recurring shoot, footage your team captures on a phone that we edit, or repurposing what you already have. Editing existing material is cheapest. Regular production shoots cost most and generally perform best. Media spend sits on top of whichever route you pick.
Paid amplification can produce inquiries within the first month. Organic growth is slower: three to six months of consistent posting before it contributes anything measurable, and longer in categories where trust builds slowly. Anyone promising a large following in weeks is describing bought followers. We would rather set that expectation now than explain it in month two.
We do, working from a response guide you approve, and anything that reads like a real inquiry or a complaint gets escalated to you the same day. In regulated categories, medical especially, we keep public replies generic and never discuss anyone's specific situation in a thread. You decide up front which topics we answer and which always come to your team.
